Bilge Kağan Çevik is a Counsel at Akol Law and Head of the Disputes Department, with a practice focused on international arbitration, complex cross-border commercial litigation, and the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. He represents clients in high-stakes disputes across the construction, financial services, M&A, and insurance sectors.
He regularly acts in proceedings under ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, and ISTAC rules, and represents clients before Turkish commercial courts, including in enforcement and set-aside proceedings. In multi-jurisdictional matters, he works closely with foreign counsel to coordinate cross-border dispute strategies.
Bilge holds an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, where he studied as a Jean Monnet Scholar, and an LL.B. from Ankara University. He is ranked as a Future Leader in International Arbitration by Lexology Index and as a Leading Associate for Insurance by Legal 500.
He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Legal Industry Reviews Turkey and is admitted to the Istanbul Bar. He practises in Turkish and English.
